Il Ponte sospeso di San Marcello Piteglio è un ponte sospeso pedonale sul fiume Lima a Mammiano Basso, San Marcello Piteglio, Toscana, Italia.
La costruzione, che è ancorata a una base di cemento con quattro cavi d'acciaio, è lunga 212,4 metri e larga 80 cm e si trova ad un massimo di 35 metri sopra il letto del fiume.
Il ponte fu costruito tra il 1920 e il 1922 dall'ingegnere Vincenzo Douglas Scotti, discendente di una vecchia famiglia scozzese e direttore del laminatoio Mammiano Basso della Società Metallurgica Italiana (SMI, ora Europa Metalli) di Campo Tizzoro. Il ponte era il ponte sospeso pedonale più lungo del mondo alla sua inaugurazione nel 1923 e fu anche menzionato nel Guinness dei primati nel 1990 fino al 30 ottobre 2006, quando il record arrivò dal ponte Kokonoe-Yume in Giappone (390 m). [ 1] Il 29 luglio 2017, il Charles Kuonen Hängebrücke con una lunghezza di 494 metri è diventato il più grande ponte sospeso pedonale del mondo.

The bridge was built between 1920 and 1922 by engineer Vincenzo Douglas Scotti, descendant of an old Scottish family and director of the Mammiano Basso rolling mill of the Società Metallurgica Italiana (SMI, now Europe of Metals) of Campo Tizzoro. The bridge was the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world at its inauguration in 1923 and was also mentioned in the Guinness Book of Records in 1990 until October 30, 2006 when the record came from the Kokonoe-Yume bridge in Japan (390 m).
