  Isola Santa, il paese più romantico della Garfagnana In viaggio nell'Italia nascosta ancora ma bellissima, autentica, vera, economica. Per un nuovo modo di essere turisti.   Dopo Castelnuovo( incantevolE borgo animato della Garfagnana la strada scende ,  il cuore verde, rurale, antico tra le Apuane e gli Appennini. Una valle dell'Eden lontana da tutto.  Quando arrivo a Isola Santa il telefono non ha più segnale.I sola Santa  era una penisola su un fiume abitata fin dal Neolitico, nel Mille era un ospitale sulla strada dei pellegrini per Assisi, nell'Ottocento un paese di pastori e di boscaioli dove abitavano più di 500 persone. Con la costruzione della diga, , il fiume è diventato un lago,, il resto è stato abbandonato , inizi a crollare finchè  una coppia  con un sogno e aiuto del comune che  ha restaurato laChiesa ed il Campanile .Ora diventata Albergo Diffuso.Merita una visita.   ABETONE              Just an afternoon out on  a  cloudy day I went for a ride to Abetone , our nearby ski resort. While waiting for some snow to start the Winter and Christmas season I discovered some nice corners that give a reason for visiting ABETONE.  There is the SKI MUSEUM, Opened recently, the museum tells the history of skiing, the history of its  great champions, the history of a  country and its facilities, which made famous skiing in the world. The PYRAMIDS    of Abetone are  monuments that stand in the center  of Abetone, at 1375 meters above sea level.They are  intended for the opening of the pass, in the second half of the eighteenth century, to celebrate the importance of this communication route that would guarantee the flourishing of trade.
