Una piacevole gita di un
giorno può essere Coreglia Antelminelli, uno dei borghi più belli d'Italia. Un borgo medievale con la tradizione delle figurine in gesso ,tradizione con la quale mio nonno immigrò in America negli anni 60. Coreglia fu infatti patria dei figuristi che diffusero nel mondo l'arte del gesso ragione per cui qui ha sede il Museo Civico della Filigrana del Gesso e dell'Immigrazione.
La curiosità di Susan Sarandon. La bellissima stella americana ha scoperto la sua origine toscana. Grazie al programma televisivo, Susan era sulle colline tra Barga e Coreglia Antelminelli, nella valle del Serchio, per riscoprire le sue origini a Lucca. Il bisnonno dell'attrice si chiamava Mansueto Rigali, nato nel 1855 vicino al villaggio di Coreglia Antelminelli. Durante la visita che fu l'episodio del programma televisivo inglese, l'attrice incontrò anche il cugino Gilberto Rigali di Piano, in un'altra città sul territorio di Coreglia.

A one day pleasant trip can be Coreglia Antelminelli, one of the most beautiful towns in Italy. A medieval village with the tradition of plaster figurines, a tradition with which my grandfather immigrated to America in the 60s. We had lunch here, delicious 

in the Serchio Valley, to rediscover her lineage in Lucca. The actress's great-grandfather was in fact called Mansueto Rigali, born in 1855 near the village of Coreglia Antelminelli. During the visit ,that 's the main part of the English television program, the actress also met her cousin Gilberto Rigali in this territory e-borghi coreglia antelminelli.
