            On my idea of discovering the best of Tuscany , on Saturday I went to LIVORNO a place I always passed by but never really got in to. Well  I was sincerely surprised bi this city and need to go back to. Livorno is a historic Tuscan port city , famous for its cosmopolitan spirit, Medici fortresses, and charming "Little Venice" district with navigable canals. Founded as a free port in the 16th century, it offers the Terrazza Mascagni, excellent seafood (cacciucco), and a lively waterfront, combining mercantile history and maritime charm. It has one of Europe's largest covered markets  the Mercato delle Vettovaglie is undoubtedly one of the most exciting and engaging. Also known as the Central Market , it has been a temple of Livorno's food and wine for centuries.
